June 10, 2024

Greg Zinn,

Community Sales Manager

What do you love most about your job? I love coming alongside the homebuyers during a particularly important time in their lives; the purchase of a new home.  I love to help them find the home that is just right for their needs and to make the process as informative and enjoyable as I possibly can.

1. Do you have any special talents or hobbies? I love to play golf.

2. What is your favorite color? Green and blue – colors regularly seen on the golf course

3. You are up next for Karaoke, what’s your go to song and why? I love to do Mr. Roboto, the song is cheesy, and I love cheese!

4. Beach or mountains? Both, I like to have my cake and eat it too.

5. If you could be a character from any tv show, who would you be? Bugs Bunny.  The guy is witty, and he always has an answer for every situation, he can pull an anvil out of his pelt if need be.  He is happy and is always singing a song. The only drawback to being Bugs is the diet, I hate carrots.

6. What is your favorite trip that you’ve been on? Hawaii.  Beautiful mountains and ocean.  Plus, lots of golf!

7. If you could live anywhere, where would it be and why? Right now, it’s right here in Colorado, I love this state and this is where my life is.

8. Favorite book? So many. The Bible for sure.  In the nonfiction isle I would take Moneyball and on the fiction side Christine.

9. If money was no object, what would you do all day? Golf, travel and eat. The last part assumes that calories is not an object as well.

10. If you could go back in time, where would you travel to? Back to the eighties to relive it.

11. Who is your celebrity crush? Meg Ryan and Andie McDowell.

12. What is the next place on your travel bucket list and why? Boston, that is one of the last great American cities that I haven’t been too.

13. Favorite kind of ice cream?  Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia

14. What was the first concert that you went to? Michael Jackson’s Victory Tour at Mile High Stadium

15. If you could spend the day in someone else’s shoes, who would it be and why? I never have wanted to do that; I love my life just as it is.

16. What would you name your boat if you had one? Sea Food – an homage to Rodney Dangerfield’s boat from the movie Caddyshack.

17. Who would play you in a movie of your life? Tom Sizemore, look him up.

18. If you could change your name, what would you choose? Joe Hawk, action hero.

19. Which tv show would you want to be in and why? The Office, it looks like they are having a lot of fun.

20. What is your favorite holiday? Independence Day, in terms of pure fun.  We always have a huge cookout and fireworks.  For importance, Easter.

21. Share a unique fact about yourself. I won an Olympic Gold Medal in a swimming relay. It was a special Olympics in which the coaches and athletes swam in a relay together.  I also used to have an FM radio show in high school.

22. If you could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, where would you be? Golfing.

23. If you were a superhero, what super power would you have? I would shoot lasers out of my eyes to melt things because that would look cool.

24. Choose a movie title for the story of your life? Isn’t this Great?

25. Last song you listened to – what is it? A new and very little-known song called “Let us Rise” by the band Piston.  They are kind of a rock ‘80’s throwback.

26. Flashback to when you were ten years old. What did you want to be when you grow up? A quarterback or film director

27. Name three words that describe you. Happy, content and friendly

28. What is the craziest thing you’ve done? I can’t answer that here.

29. What is your proudest achievement? Raising 3 great kids.

30. What are you happiest doing, when you are not working? Golfing with friends.

We had multiple people try to talk us out of building our first home. From the surprise expenses and the stress of the building process, we had a lot of suggestions that it wasn't the way to go. However, the Baessler team defied all the criticism. They were upfront with all financial expenses and had an incredible team that walked us through, what could have been a stressful experience, but instead became very exciting and enjoyable. I would recommend Baessler to anyone and everyone. Thank you for building our dream home.
